You can remove a device from a job on the Jobs 2.0 screen as follows:
Note: You will only be able to remove devices from jobs with a status of In Progress or Pending.
The steps below are for removing a device from a single job. If you would like to remove devices from ALL the jobs they belong to, follow the steps in Removing Devices from All Jobs.
- Click
on the left sidebar menu.
- Click Jobs 2.0 on the flyout menu that appears.
The Jobs 2.0 screen will open and display the My Jobs tab (unless you were previously on the All Jobs tab during this CTC Admin session).
- If needed, select the tab the job is on — My Jobs if it is a job you created yourself or All Jobs if someone else in your organization added it.
If it's in a subaccount of the account you have selected in the Account Switcher, make sure that View Subaccounts is selected at the top of the screen.
If it's in a different account above your chosen one, you'll need to change it, as shown in Switching Accounts.
- Locate the row of the job with the device you want to remove.
If necessary, you can search for it by typing the job name, the job ID, or the username of whoever created it in the Search Jobs field and selecting the entity type from the drop-down list.
Note: This search requires that you enter the entire item name, not just part of it. - In the row of the job, click
at the far right and then View from the menu.
Note: Alternatively, you can click the job ID. (The underlining indicates that it is a link that will open more details.)
The job will open on its own tab and display the job's details, including all its tasks (files) and the status of each file on your devices.
- Select the row of the task in the top grid to see details about each device's status for it in the second grid.
- In the bottom grid, find the row of the device you want to remove.
- Click
at the far right of its row and then Cancel from the menu.
Note: The option will be grayed out if the task has been completed or has failed for the device, indicating that it can't be canceled at this point.
A warning dialog box will appear.
- Click Yes, Cancel.
The device will be removed from the job.
