If you would like to add several users to your CTC Admin account at once, you can import all their data in bulk. To do so, follow these steps:

- Make sure that you are logged in to the account to which you want to import new users. (See Switching Accounts if you need to change the parent account.)
- On the sidebar menu on the left, click .
- Click Users on the flyout menu that appears.
The Admin - Users screen will appear.
- Click Import at the top right of the screen.
The Import Users dialog box will appear.
- Under the Drag or Click to Upload Your File box, click Download Blank Template or Download Template with Users.
Note: Use the Blank Template option if you are importing new users entirely (and not updating any existing users). Use Template with Users if you are editing properties of current user profiles; you can also add new users with the same file.
The Template with Users option will include the users you are viewing in the grid, so if you have View Subaccounts selected, this will mean all the users in the account you have chosen in the Account Switcher, plus those in all its child accounts.
The file users.xlsx will be downloaded.
Note: You may need to approve the saving of the file to your Downloads folder, depending on your settings. - Open the file.
The fields that are required have a red background (Username, First Name, Last Name, Email, Role Name, and UOM).
Note: UOM is an abbreviation for Units of Measure. You supply the preferred method of measurement for the user in this field — US, Metric, Mixed, or Use Account Default. (The latter will use the account's assigned unit of measurement.)
If you chose the Template with Users option, there will also be an ID column. DO NOT change the values in this column and ignore it for the users you are adding (leave it empty). - Fill in the required fields, plus any of the other data you'd like to include, placing each user's properties horizontally across (in a row).
If you chose the Template with Users option, you can update the data in the rows of existing users.
Note: You may need to enable editing first, depending on your settings.
If you downloaded a template with your current users, place new users in a new row. - After saving the file, return to CTC Admin and click in the Import Users dialog box.
- Navigate to your updated users.xlsx file and open it.
The dialog box will report the status of your upload (such as "100% Completed" below).
Note: If there are any issues with your file, such as if you haven't filled in all the required fields for a user, this message will appear:
Correct the errors in your users.xlsx file and reupload it. - Click Import.
A message will appear, saying that your users are being imported.
When the import is finished, your new users will appear in the Admin - Users list.
Note: You may need to refresh the screen to see the new users.
