IMPROVED DEVICES SCREEN PERFORMANCE

We reduced the time it takes for the Devices grid to load.

IMPROVED GROUPS FILTER

On the Devices screen, we improved the Groups filter by removing the drop-down list of all your groups (which, for customers with many groups, could take some seconds to load) and changing it to an input field requiring search criteria.

In addition, each matching search result will have a tooltip that will be displayed when you hover over it showing its entire account hierarchy (all its parents in the directory tree above it).

ADDED A JOB STATS COLUMNS TO THE JOBS SCREEN

On the Jobs screen, we added a new column, Job Stats, which will show the number of devices and tasks included in the job. This column will be displayed by default.

LIMITING THE OLD METHOD OF DOWNLOADING DEVICE PASSWORDS TO 100 DEVICES

In release 1.16, we added a Device Password option to the Bulk Device Actions dialog box, which enables you to export device passwords to a CSV file in bulk. We are keeping our previous method of downloading device passwords as well (selecting the devices’ check boxes on the Devices screen, clicking  at the top right of the grid, clicking Device Password, and then selecting ), but we are limiting this to function only for 100 or fewer devices.

We added a tooltip to the Download Device Passwords window that will direct you to use the Bulk Device Actions dialog box for more devices. (See Exporting Device Passwords to Email for more information.)

LIMITING THE JUMP-TO-PAGE FEATURE TO 10,000 DEVICES

On the Devices screen, you can navigate to a page of results by entering its number in the pagination control below the grid and pressing Enter; we are limiting that to function only for the first 10,000 devices’ worth of pages. For example, if you are viewing 20 devices per page, you will be able to jump to page 500 but not 501 (because the 501st page is past the 10,000 devices’ mark). After page 500, you will need to use the  icon below the grid to proceed to subsequent pages of results.

EXPORTING DEVICES USING THE ANY FIELD FILTER AND AN APPLIED SORT

On the Devices screen, we fixed an issue with exporting devices to a CSV file that wouldn’t preserve a column sort if the user had used an Any Field filter before the sort was applied.
