On CTC Admin grid screens, you can add or remove columns and save the resulting column configuration. The Devices screen has an additional feature that enables you to save up to 10 different such column views. To save a Device's page view, follow these steps:


  1. Click  on the left sidebar menu.
     
    The Devices screen will appear and list all the devices in the account you are logged in to. (See Switching Accounts for details on how to change the account you are viewing.)
      
  2. Click  at the top right of the grid.
     
    The Columns dialog box will display the column headers you can include on the screen, listed in their default order.
       
  3. Select (or leave selected) the check boxes of any column headers you want to be displayed. ( means selected, and  deselected.)
    Note: You may need to scroll down to find the column options you want.
  4. Deselect any column names you don't want to be shown.
     
    As soon as you click a check box, its column will appear or be removed from the grid.
    Note: You can click Select All to choose all the available columns.

    If you want to include just a few columns in your view, you can click Clear All (which deselects all the column check boxes) and then reselect the column headers you need.

  5. Click Save As at the top of the dialog box.
     
    The New Column Preference Name drop-down box will be displayed.
      
  6. In the New Column Name field, type a name for this column configuration that will easily identify it for you later.
     
  7. Click Done.
     
    A success message will appear briefly.
     
  8. To save another column configuration, repeat steps 2 through 7, using a different name for this column view.
     
  9. You can save up to 10 column configurations.

VIEWING SAVED COLUMN CONFIGURATIONS

To view a column configuration you saved previously, follow these steps:


  1. On the Devices screen, click  at the top right of the grid.
     
    The Columns dialog box will appear.
      
  2. Click Saved Columns at the top of the dialog box.
     
    The names of your saved configurations will appear in a drop-down box.
      
  3. Click the column view you want to see.
     
    The screen will immediately change to display the columns in that configuration.
     
  4. Click Done to exit the Columns dialog box.

DELETING A SAVED COLUMN CONFIGURATION

You can remove a saved column configuration as follows:


  1. On the Devices screen, click  at the top right of the grid.
     
    The Columns dialog box will appear.
      
  2. Click Saved Columns at the top of the dialog box.
     
    Your saved configurations will be listed in a drop-down box.
      
  3. Click  to the right of the name of the column view you want to delete.
     
    A confirmation dialog box will appear.
      
  4. Click Yes, Delete.
