REENABLING THE VEHICLE MANAGER FOR CUSTOMER ADMINS

For users with Customer Admin roles, we are reenabling the Vehicle Manager screen (which we disabled in release 1.41 due to performance issues).

OPENING DEVICE DETAILS FROM THE VEHICLE MANAGER

On the Vehicle Manager screen, we made the ESNs in the ESN column clickable links that will open the Device Details window.

ADDED A DISABLED SERVICES COLUMN TO THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, we added a Disabled Services column, which will list all the services that have been disabled (and mark services that are in the process of being disabled with an asterisk). If the values are too wide to fit the column’s space, a tooltip will show all the services. (We also added a similar tooltip for the Enabled Services column.)

ADDED A PART NUMBER COLUMN TO THE PROVISIONED DEVICES SCREEN

On the Inventory Manager >> Provisioned Devices screen, we added a Part Number column, which will show the entirety of a part number/name, plus a Part Number search filter. The new column will be displayed by default and will be sortable.

CHANGED COLUMN NAMES TO STATUS MESSAGE

On the Jobs 2.0 screen, we changed the Task grid’s Failure Reason column name to Status Message because all StatCode messages will be displayed there, including those for successful and pending jobs. (You’ll see this when you view a single job on its own tab.)

In addition, in the Devices screen’s Device Details window, we changed the OTA Status Code column name of the Log view of the Files tab to Status Message.

ADDED THE ABILITY TO SORT BY FILE VERSION

On the Device Files screen, we added the ability to sort the File Version column.

ADDED KAFKA PRODUCER PROPERTIES FIELDS TO THE ADD/EDIT ACCOUNT DIALOG BOX

For Enterprise accounts with a Connect Basic Push or Connect Pro Push subscription and a message endpoint type of KAFKA SASL PLAIN or KAFKA SASL SCRAM, we added a Producer Properties area to the Add/Edit Account dialog box. The fields in this section are optional and enable you to add various Kafka properties, such as the security protocol, serializer value, acknowledgments, and SASL JAAS config.

REFRESHING THE DEVICE DETAILS WINDOW

In the Device Details window, you can now click the Refresh icon () on the Files tab to see the files of newly created or canceled jobs.
