USING ESC TO CLOSE DIALOG BOXES
We added the ability to close dialog boxes using the Esc key. This doesn’t apply to the Add/Edit dialog boxes (so that you don’t accidentally close one before making your changes) or ones requiring user input.
ADDED ANDROID MDT FIRMWARE AND VBUS DB COLUMNS TO THE DEVICES SCREEN
On the Devices screen, we added two new sortable columns, Android MDT Firmware, which will show the firmware version for Android MDT devices, and VBUS DB, which will show the vehicle bus database version. These columns will not be displayed by default but can be added via the column selector. In addition, we added the ability to search using the Android MDT firmware version and VBUS database version.
SEPARATED THE MDN COLUMN INTO TWO COLUMNS ON THE DEVICES SCREEN
On the Devices screen, the mobile directory number (MDN) of a device is displayed in the MDN column. Previously, the MDN column showed the device’s MIN (mobile identification number) value if it was available, and if it wasn’t, the MDN value. Now, there will be two separate columns, MDN and MIN, both of which are sortable. These aren’t displayed by default but can be added via the column selector.
VALIDATING UPLOADED FILES
We added validation to the process of adding and editing a device file that will verify that uploaded files match the Device Type and File Type options that were chosen. If they don’t, an error message of “Uploaded file does not match with any type selections” will be displayed, and the Done button will be disabled.
PROMPTING FOR FILE PERMISSIONS DURING ROLE CREATION
When you are adding or editing a role, you will now see a message that will prompt you to select a file permission if you select Create for the Provisioning - Jobs or Provisioning - Device Files permission. The Done button will be disabled until you check the needed File Permissions check boxes.
ADDED A VEHICLE ENGINEERING MODE COLUMN TO THE VEHICLE MANAGER SCREEN
On the Vehicle Manager screen, we added a new column, Vehicle Engineering Mode, which will show the mode the device is currently in, plus whether it is making a transition to a different state, such as Disabled -> Validation. This column will be displayed by default.
