DOWNLOADING DEVICE PASSWORDS IN BULK

In the Bulk Device Actions dialog box, we added a new option, Device Password, which will enable you to export individual device passwords to a CSV file and send them to up to seven email addresses you specify. You can select as many devices as needed in the Devices grid to include in this action.

ADDED BLE3 FIRMWARE, VBU3 FIRMWARE, BSP MODEM FIRMWARE, AND CELL RADIO FIRMWARE COLUMNS TO THE DEVICES SCREEN

On Devices screen, we added four new columns, BLE3 Firmware, VBU3 Firmware, BSP Modem Firmware, and Cell Radio Firmware, which will show the corresponding firmware versions. These columns will be displayed by default and will be sortable.

In addition, we added filters for these.

CHANGED THE VERSION COLUMN NAME

On the Device Files screen, we changed the name of the Version column to “Revision” to avoid confusion with the File Version column (which shows the version name/number) to reflect the fact that it shows the iteration of the file (the incremental count of times it’s been updated).

CHECKING DEVICE CAPABILITY INSTEAD OF PLATFROM FOR JPOD2 CONFIGS

We have removed the platform check for creating a new job with a Device/File Type selection of JPOD2 Config. Instead, the check will be for device capability.

REMOVED THE META DATA FILE VERSION FIELD

In release 1.15, we made the Meta Data File Version field of the Add/Edit File dialog box read-only for new LMU config, LMU PEG2, or JPOD2 config files (because we changed the version information to be read directly from the file instead of from user input). Now, we’ve removed the Meta Data File Version field altogether for these file types to help avoid confusion.

EXPORTING ALL THE DEVICES IN THE BULK ACTIVITY STATUS VIEW WINDOW

We improved the process of exporting from the Bulk Activity Status View window by having the export button automatically include all the devices for the activity in the CSV file. (Previously, you had to load all the files by scrolling all the way down; if you didn’t, only the first page of devices would be in the export.)

(You open Bulk Activity Status by clicking in the banner, and you can open an activity’s details by clicking  and then View.)

POPULATING THE PART INFO FIELD WITH FULL PART NUMBERS

In the Devices screen’s Device Details window, we are now populating the Part Info field with the entirety of a part number/name. For example, previously, only “DMU1110” might appear in this field, but now, all of “DMU1110-VD-G0000” will be displayed.

POPULATING THE FIRST AND LAST ICN HEARTBEAT ON THE DEVICES SCREEN

For our CrashBoxx customers, on the Devices screen, the First ICN Heartbeat and Last ICN Heartbeat columns will now be populated with the date and time when CalAmp first and last verified that the device could report CrashBoxx events, respectively. (These columns are turned off by default but can be enabled via the column selector.)

DISPLAYING ALL THE SHIPPED DEVICES

We fixed an issue with the Inventory Manager >> Provisioned Devices screen that wasn’t displaying all the devices that were fulfilled from orders when the Inventory Only toggle was deselected (whether they had been assigned to the US, the EU, or Inventory regions).
