REVIEW THE NEW ANALYTICS & REPORTS FEATURE BY FEBRUARY 29!

Remember to start getting familiar with our new reporting system, which offers better performance, navigation, filtering, data visualization, and exporting capabilities. All your saved reports, scheduled reports, and data have been retained.

The legacy reports will be available until February 29 for comparison. This means that beginning in March, you will be able to run reports using the new platform only.

RESOURCES FOR TRAINING

You can find help articles on how to run, schedule, and customize the new reports at Using the New Reports System.

You can register for a webinar with live training on the new reports at CalAmp New Analytics & Reporting.

In addition, you can find a video walkthrough of the new upgraded reports offering at CalAmp Application Analytics & Reports. (This video shows the reports view in the CalAmp application, not CTC Admin, but the steps are the same.)

Do not hesitate to contact your CalAmp customer success manager with any questions or feedback!

IMPROVED PERFORMANCE FOR CREATING JOBS WITH LMU CONFIG FILES

We reduced the time it takes to load LMU config files when you are creating a new job with a Device/File Type selection of LMU Config.

IMPROVED THE DASHBOARD

We have improved the Dashboard by now using the new reporting system to provide its data.

REMOVING DEVICES IN BULK FROM ALL GROUPS

In the Bulk Device Actions dialog box, we added the ability to remove devices from all their assigned groups using the Group Assignment Remove From radio button (via a new Remove from All Groups option in the Group drop-down list). (Previously, you could remove devices from just a single group at a time.)

IMPROVED THE PROCESS OF ADDING/EDITING A PEG BEHAVIOR

We addressed several issues with adding and editing a PEG behavior:

  • We stopped the Unsaved Data! warning from popping up if you were using the Edit Peg Behavior dialog box to just view a behavior’s properties, made no changes, and closed the dialog box.
  • We fixed an issue that was preventing all the event labels from appearing.
  • We fixed a bug with the Config PEG Behavior step scrolling to the top of the dialog box on its own.
  • We fixed a bug that wouldn’t allow you to add PEG accumulators with an event code higher than 127.
  • We added back Ignore as a Label drop-down list option for the Accumulators step.
  • We fixed the problem of not being able to change the SOU quantity values in the Accumulators step.
  • When you insert a new event in the Config PEG Behavior step, you will see that the accumulators are now correctly tagged.
  • In the Event Code step, we fixed the issue that was showing empty labels if you were adding more than 100 accumulators.
