ADDED A USER ESN MOBILE ID COLUMN TO THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, we added a User ESN Mobile ID column, which will show the user ESN mobile ID identifier (if any). Note that this column will be displayed by default.

EXPANDED THE ID OPTIONS FOR THE SHAREABLE LINK TO A DEVICE

We expanded the shareable link that will direct others to a device to support ESNs, other serial numbers, IMEIs, and mobile IDs. So the URL that is produced when you click Copy Link at the top left of the Devices screen’s Device Details window (which looks like https://admin.calamp.com/devices?id=123456) can be modified like these:

https://admin.calamp.com/devices?esn=ESN

https://admin.calamp.com/devices?serial=serial number

https://admin.calamp.com/devices?imei=IMEI

https://admin.calamp.com/devices?mobile=mobile ID 

In these, the italicized text will be replaced with the ID you need.

CLEARING FILTERS WITH AN ICON ON A MOBILE DEVICE

When you apply filters on a mobile device, you will now clear them all via a new icon, , instead of the Clear All text.

REMOVED THE CHANGE-PASSWORD PROMPT FOR CERTAIN NEW USERS

We removed the prompt for a new user to change their password for users who cannot make password changes.

UPLOADING AND DOWNLOADING FILE RELEASE NOTES

When adding or editing a device file, you can now upload release notes with text that provides information about the file using the Release Notes section of the Add/Edit File dialog box. (This functionality had been broken due to permissions updates.) Note that the downloaded file will have the .notes extension, however, regardless of the format it was uploaded with; this is planned to be addressed in the future.

USING EXCEL AND CSV FILES WHEN ADDING A PEG BEHAVIOR

The Add PEG Behavior dialog box will now accept both Excel and CSV files in step 2 of the wizard. (The drag-and-drop box says, “Supported format: csv.”)
