WARNING! Customer file deletion will be temporarily disabled for permission-based file jobs integration September 18th through 24th. It will be reenabled on the 25th.

ASSIGNING FILES WHEN CREATING JOBS BASED ON USER ROLE

We have simplified the process of creating a job by limiting the files you can assign to only those your user role has permissions to access. For example, one user role may be only able to assign PEG scripts, whereas a second role may be able to assign both PEG scripts and LMU firmware. The file groups are as follows:

  • Script (PEG and PEG2)
  • LMU firmware and coprocessor
  • VBUS (JPOD, VBU3, JPOD2, OBDII including all VBUS configs)
  • Bluetooth (BLE/BT — all 8)
  • Radio firmware (including BSP)
  • HostedApp, EdgeApp, and OPKGs
  • Customer database files (DriverID, geozone, APN list)
  • MDT
  • KeyFiles (assigning only)

REMOVING A DEVICE FROM A JOB

We added a Remove Device option to enable you to remove the selected device from a job. You can find this when you click a job ID link from the Devices or Jobs screen.

Note: The Remove Device option will be enabled only if the selected items have a status of In Progress.

Clicking Remove Device will launch a confirmation dialog box. After you click Yes in it, the device will be removed from the job and all its tasks.

REPORTING THE CURRENT SCRIPT NAME IN THE DEVICE DETAILS WINDOW

In release 0.48, we added a Script Name field to the Devices screen’s Device Details window, which held the PEG script name that was in the Config Group field in PULS. The Script Name field will now use the Config Group name for the initial script name, until a new file task is created — so the current reported name for LMU config and LMU peg file types will be pulled for the script name.

MAKING THE PHONE NUMBER, IMSI, AND PART DESCRIPTION MORE VISIBLE IN THE DEVICE DETAILS WINDOW

In the Devices screen’s Device Details window, we moved the Phone (MDN), IMSI, and Part Desc fields from the Additional Information section to the General section, which will place them higher in the window and therefore make them more visible. In addition, we made the Part Desc field larger so that it can accommodate more text.

SORTING AND FILTERING BY VBUS STATUS ON THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, you can once again sort and filter via the VBUS Status value (On or Off).

RESETTING A FORGOTTEN PASSWORD

The process to reset your password if you’ve forgotten it (starting with clicking Forgot Password? on the login screen) is now working. Previously, the email was sending a link to a site no longer in use.

VIEWING DEVICE DETAILS IN A NON-ENGLISH LANGUAGE

We fixed an issue that was crashing browsers when customers tried to view the Device Details window if their browsers didn’t have English set as the default language.

DISPLAYING YOUR SAVED COLUMN CONFIGURATION ON THE DEVICES SCREEN

We fixed an issue that wouldn’t display your saved column configuration for the Devices screen if you navigated to a different page showing devices (such as Provisioning >> Jobs >> Add New >> Add Devices) and then returned to the Devices module.
