LIMITING THE DISPLAY OF THE ADD NEW BUTTONS BASED ON USER ROLE

On the Devices screen, the Import and Add New buttons will now only be displayed if your user role has permissions to add new devices.

IMPROVED THE DEVICES DIALOG BOX FOR CREATING A JOB

When you are creating a job on the Jobs screen by clicking Add New, the Create Job dialog box is launched; when you click Select Devices, the Devices dialog box opens. We improved this dialog box by removing the Import and Add New options at the top right, which were confusing users (who thought they were for importing job files, but they were for adding new devices), and by extending the width of the Search field.

IMPROVED THE SCRIPT NAME FIELD IN THE DEVICE DETAILS WINDOW

In release 0.48, we added a new Script Name field to the Devices screen’s Device Details window. We have improved that by making the field wider, so that the entirety of the name of the PEG script used for the device should be visible.

VIEWING DESCRIPTIONS AND FULL FILENAMES WHEN SELECTING FILES DURING JOB CREATION

When you are selecting a file when creating a job, the filename options in the drop-down list will now have a tooltip with the file description (that can display up to 280 characters). (In addition, the tooltip containing the description will be available in other CTC Admin locations with filenames.)

You will also now be able to see the full filename in the drop-down list, if it is fewer than 150 characters.
