COLLAPSING THE SIDEBAR MENU
We added a Collapse/Expand icon at the bottom left of the CTC Admin user interface that enables you to collapse the sidebar menu to just an icon view (hiding the menu option names) so that you can have more window real estate for the screen items. This will persist across user sessions, so when you log out and back in again, you’ll see the same collapsed or expanded view you last chose.
DUPLICATING ROLES AND MOVING THEM TO DIFFERENT SUBACCOUNTS
We added the ability for Admin users to copy an existing role and then modify its properties to make the process of creating new roles easier (via a new Clone option on the Admin - Roles screen). Also, you can move new roles to a different subaccount, as needed.
ADDED A MOBILE ID COLUMN TO THE DEVICES SCREEN
On the Devices screen, we added a new column, Mobile ID, which will show the mobile ID for the device (if one has been entered). This column will be displayed by default.
IMPROVED USER INTERFACE FOR BULK ACTIONS
We improved the user interface for the Bulk Device Actions dialog box, making it larger (both taller and wider) and removing the Select Devices – Select Action area and the selected devices icons. These changes will give you more room to work with in the dialog box and will show you more of the available actions in the list on the left, which will be especially helpful if you are viewing CTC Admin at lower resolutions.
DISPLAYING ALL MDT FILES FOR THE CURRENT VIEW OF THE FILES TAB OF DEVICE DETAILS
In the Devices screen’s Device Details window, we will now show all the MDT firmware and MDT config files in the Current view of the Files tab.
EXPORTING NEW COLUMNS ON THE DEVICES SCREEN
In recent releases, on the Devices screen, we added several new columns, JPOD Firmware, JPOD Config, Pending JPOD FW, Pending JPOD Config, EdgeApp Version, and Pending EdgeApp/Hosted App; we will now be including those columns and their data in the export to CSV.
UPLOADING FILES WHEN CREATING A JOB
When you are creating a new job using the Bulk Device Actions dialog box, you will now find that uploading a file doesn’t disable the Tasks section.
VALIDATING THAT DEVICES ARE SELECTED BEFORE CREATING A JOB
When you are creating a new job using the Bulk Device Actions dialog box, the Tasks section will be disabled if no devices have been selected.
APPLYING SEARCH FILTERS
On grid screens, the search filters will now function as expected. (Previously, there were issues with searching for multiple entities with Any Field selected and with the filter returning no results if you changed accounts.)
