IMPROVED THE PAGING OPTIONS

On grid screens, we improved the paging options at the bottom, adding the ability for you to enter a page number to navigate to that page of results.

ADDED AN EDGEAPP VERSION COLUMN TO THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, we added a new column, EdgeApp Version, which will show the current EdgeApp version on the device. This column will be displayed by default.

DISPLAYING A NAME ONLY IF THE DEVICE HAS AN ACTUAL NAME

On the Devices screen, we changed the Name column to be blank if no name value has been entered for the device. (Previously, the field would pull from any source it could to place a value there, resulting in some strange names and sorting.)

DISPLAYING JPOD2 FILES ON THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, we will now populate the JPOD Firmware, JPOD Config, Pending JPOD FW, and Pending JPOD Config columns with the current and pending JPOD2 firmware and configuration versions on the device. (These columns will now display both JPOD and JPOD2 data, whichever is applicable.)

HIDING THE CODE AND REASON COLUMNS IN THE BULK ACTIVITY STATUS VIEW WINDOW FOR SUCCESSFUL TASKS

In the Bulk Activity Status View window, the Code and Reason columns show the error code and the reason why an activity failed — and have thus always been blank for successful tasks. Now, we will hide those columns if the activity is completed.

EXPORTING EOL COLUMN DATA ON THE DEVICES SCREEN

In release 0.44, on the Devices screen, we added a new column, EOL, which will show if the device is no longer supported (reached its end of life), but when devices were exported to CSV, that column showed no data. It will now be populated in the export.

IMPROVED PROCESS FOR VBU3 FIRMWARE JOB CREATION

In release 0.42, we improved the procedure for creating a job by showing only compatible vehicle bus file types for your selection of devices (instead of all files), but this wasn’t working for VBU3. Now, when you choose VBU3 Firmware in the Device/File Type drop-down list, the dialog box will automatically filter to find just matching files.
