ADDED JPOD FIRMWARE AND JPOD CONFIG COLUMNS TO THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, we added two new columns, JPOD Firmware and JPOD Config, which will show the current JPOD firmware and configuration versions on the device. These columns will be displayed by default.

ADDED PENDING JPOD FW, PENDING JPOD CONFIG, AND PENDING EDGEAPP/HOSTED APP COLUMNS TO THE DEVICES SCREEN

On the Devices screen, we added three new columns, Pending JPOD FW, Pending JPOD Config, and Pending EdgeApp/Hosted App, which will show if the device has pending JPOD updates. The values for the first two will be the version names of the pending firmware and config, plus clickable Job ID links. The third will display the platform IDs of the pending hosted apps. These columns will be displayed by default.

ADDED THE ACCOUNT NAME TO THE DEVICE DETAILS WINDOW

In the Devices screen’s Device Details window, we added the name of the account the device belongs to at the top right.

CONFIGURING LMU-55XX NOTIFICATIONS FOR PARTIAL OR FULL RECOVERY MODE

For customers with LMU-5530 and LMU-5541 devices, we added the ability to create a notification that will alert you when the LMU (location messaging unit) has entered partial or full recovery mode. The email subject will be similar to “CTC Health Alert: Failsafe Action Needed” or “CTC Health Alert: ESN 0 Detected,” and the body will include the device name, ESN, device ID, and account. To configure this, in the Add/Edit Notification dialog box, select Device Health Event from the Notification Type drop-down list.

IMPROVED MDT DEVICES REPORT

We improved the MDT Devices report by adding a Last Associated LMU column, which will display the ESN (electronic serial number) of the LMU assigned to the MDT (mobile data terminal), and by now populating the CMF File, Config File, and Other Files columns with the cmf.apk, cmf.cfg, and other .apk versions, respectively.

IMPROVED ACCOUNT METRICS REPORT

In the Account Metrics report, we added an Account Name column to the drill-down report available from the Rolled Up Sum (All Devices) column (because those results can include devices from other subaccounts).

In addition, the Last Moving Time option is now working, so if you select this check box in the parameters, only devices that have reported a moving AVL event within the chosen time frame will be included in the results (and that count will be reflected in the Number of All Reported Devices column).

IMPROVED JOB CREATION PROCESS FOR MDT CONFIG FILES

We improved the process of creating a job for MDT config files report by having the Version - App ID Select File drop-down list show the reported names instead of just the filenames (to help differentiate between files for the MDT-7P and -8W).

SORTING AND FILTERING DEVICES

On the Devices screen, we made it possible to perform a search using the filter at the top of the page and also sort one of the columns. (Previously, applying a sort order to a column would remove the search results, showing all the original devices.)

POPULATING VBUS DATA IN THE ADVANCED DEVICE DETAILS REPORT

We are now populating VBUS information fields in the Advanced Device Details report.
