EXPANDED SUPPORT FOR MAKING BULK CHANGES TO ASSETS
We improved CTC Admin’s ability to make bulk changes so that a large number of assets can be updated at once on the Admin - Assets screen, including moving assets to a different account, reassigning them to a new group, unpairing devices from their assets, and making some asset edits (such as IDs, VINs, and license numbers).
VIEWING ONLY OPTIONS YOU CAN USE, BASED ON USER ROLE
Menu options now will appear on certain screens only if your user role has permissions to take their actions. For example, if your role has rights to just view a device, you will not see Add, Edit, Create Job, and Bulk menu choices. This currently has been applied to the Dashboard, Devices screen, Provisioning module, Notifications screen, and Admin - Notifications page.
RETURNING MORE CONSISTENT RESULTS FOR DEVICE SEARCHES
We made some backend changes that will improve the consistency of the results returned when you perform a search for devices (on either the Devices screen or Admin - Assets page).
IMPROVED PREVENTION OF PAGE CACHING
Previously, users would log in to CTC Admin and be shown the preceding instance of the software, despite some processes designed to prevent such page caching. Now, the most recent version of the platform will be available upon login, due to improved page-caching blockers.
