The Devices screen utilizes smart search, which means that you can search using partial keywords, to enable you to easily find exactly the device you need. You also can use filters to find certain devices.


Searching for a Device


To search for a device, follow these steps:


  1. Click Devices in the left sidebar menu.
     
    The Devices screen will appear and list all the devices in the account you are logged in to.
      
  2. Type part of the device name or device ID in the Search by Device field and press Enter.
    Note: You can also copy and paste a large number of ESNs or other device identifiers in the search bar, but in this case, you'll need to use their full identifiers.
    Only devices that match your search criteria will appear in the grid.
    SEARCHING FOR A DEVICE USING AN API
     
    To search for a device using an API, go to Devices Search.


Applying Filters


To filter for devices, follow these steps:


  1. Click Devices in the left sidebar menu.
     
    The Devices screen will appear and list all the devices in the account you are logged in to.
      
  2. Click Filter to the right of the Search field.
     
    The Filter options will appear.
      
  3. You can filter by different types of ID (such as ESN), device model, device family, firmware version, configuration version, group, and such, plus status (Enabled, Disabled, or Suspended).
     
    You also can apply more than one filter to further limit your results.
     
  4. Enter specific values based on the type of filter(s) you need.
     
  5. Click Filter at the bottom right.
     
    Only devices that fit all your filters will appear in the grid.
